1992 Shoot "Apples" commercial for Australian Horticultural society (wins Silver Lion Cannes & Cleo) whilst on tour of Australian Festivals

Large scale version of STOMP performed for the 1st time (with 30 performers) at the Brighton festival; Winner of "Most Outstanding Contribution to festival" and "Most Innovative Work" awards

Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival: STOMP is only act to play both French and English language festivals, it marks STOMP’s first performance in North America

1993 Perform at Hong Kong Arts Festival & Shoot Coca Cola "Ice Pick" commercial.in London docklands (before redevelopment). Perform large scale STOMP at Melbourne comedy festival, featuring original cast plus 30 Australian performers. First performance in USA at Boston Dance Umbrella. Win Special Jury Prize at Chalon festival, France, and break box office records at Harbourfront Centre. Toronto, Canada

1994 Sell out run at Sadler’s Well’s Theatre, London, before original cast open in February at the Orpheum Theatre, New York. UK cast shoot Target commercials, & in the autumn commence 1st US tour before shooting linking sequences for televised Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles. Also record theme music for BBC series Blue Peter

 

1995 US group film “Mr Frear” short film seriesˇ for Nickelodeon cable TV, UK group shoot “Brooms” short film in London, both directed by Luke and Steve

1995 2 concurrent US tours commence: continues for 11 years. Perform another large scale show for Royal Festival Hall, London and the Acropolis, Athens. STOMP is featured on Quincy Jones's recording Q's Jook Joint on a cut called "Stomp" with Mr. X, Melle Mel, Coolio, Yo-Yo, Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson, Shaquille O'Neal and Luniz, which receives a Grammy nomination

1996 Short film “Brooms” premiered at Sundance Film Festival, and nominated for both an Academy Award and Cannes best short film STOMP performˇ live at the Academy Awards to an estimated audience of almost 1 Billion

1997 STOMP OUT LOUD, a 45 min TV special in production for HBO, USA shot onlocation in and around New York City. 1st Royal Variety Show appearance in London

1998 STOMP OUT LOUD airs in the USA and receives 4 Emmy nominations. STOMP are invited to perform at the 50th Emmy Awards ceremony STOMP OUT LOUD receives Royal Television Society Award for “Most Innovative Production”

1999 First ever tour of the UK. Shoot SESAME ST special “LET’S MAKE MUSIC” in New York. Perform at Golden Ring Awards in Amsterdam and Comic Relief special in London

New Year’s Eve ‘99 Perform Washington DC on steps of Lincoln Memorial for America’s Millenium

 
 
 

2000 Enter 7th year at Orpheum Theatre, New York, breaking record established by Little Shop of Horrors. Begin production on IMAX movie: “PULSE: A Stomp Odyssey”. Stomp opens extended run at Marines Memorial Theatre, San Francisco and performs in Moscow for the first time

2001 “Vacuums” film production in Bucharest, Romania STOMP opens extended run at Cigale, Paris

2002 Principle photography completed for the IMAX movie. Filming took place in Africa, Europe, India and North America. STOMP opens at the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End

“PULSE: A STOMP Odyssey” premieres at the New York Museum of Natural History IMAX theatre

2003 “PULSE: A STOMP Odyssey” films wins both the Jury and  Audience awards at La Geode festival in Paris

STOMP also create DOLBY intro sequence for cinemas and video releases

 

London 2012 Olympics: the largest Stomp cast ever assembled

2006 LFO , STOMP’s sister show created for the Brighton Festival & NY cast shoot Stomp Out Litter campaign for NYC

2007 “STOMP OUT LOUD” opens in Las Vegas at Planet Hollywood hotel

2008 Entertainment Weekly includes STOMP in its list of "New Classics: The 50 Best Plays and Musicals from 1983 to 2008"

2012 STOMP performs in the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony

2016 STOMP teams up with the Harlem Globetrotters for a viral video release

2017 STOMP performs its 10,000th show at the Orpheum Theatre

2019 STOMP celebrates its 25th anniversary in New York City with a special performance featuring current cast members and STOMP alumni

2020 All performances cease globally as a result of the pandemic. It is the first time in 26 years that there hasn’t been a performance of STOMP playing somewhere in the world

During the pandemic, STOMP creates sequences for the US Open, featuring performers from around the world performing from home

2021 STOMP re-opens at the Orpheum and recommences the US Tour

2022 STOMP returns to Portugal to complete the interrupted 2019 run, then returns to Brighton and plays a 5 week run in aid of The Old Market Theatre
